Abstract

Blended learning is defined as the combination of both online  learning and the traditional face –to face learning .The current study aims at investigating EFL college teachers and students  perceptions towards many dimensions of blended learning environment  . It  also aims at investigating what perceptions towards the  aspects or factors of blended learning that  college students viewed as the most important . To achieve these aims , the researcher has used two instruments , a structured interview which consists of five questions that are exposed to thirty college instructors and an adopted scaled questionnaire which contains thirty  four items exposed to sixty college students from college of education( Ibn Rushd )  for identifying their attitudes towards blended learning contexts . After treating the results statistically, they show that both college teachers and students have positive perceptions towards using blended learning contexts .They also indicate that flexibility of learning and classroom learning are the most important factors of blended learning that perceived the more positive perceptions by college students. The results of the study also show that female college students have more positive perceptions than male students   on the blended learning contexts
