Abstract

          The current research tackles with ( Studying The Psychological Dimension Of Movement In Toulouse Lautrec's Drawings) in an attempt to find out approaches between studies concerned with movement's principle and artistic experiments with expressional extent that deal with humanitarian self and it's details that motivate innovation, important of this research emanates first from the variety of subjects as it correlates with psychological, scientific, aesthetic and artistic beside the possibility of interaction between these specializations, via shedding light on the concept of movement in general, also tackled with an important side of the modern drawing notably the painter (Toulouse Lautrec) who is considered a pioneer of expressional movement, while the problem of research was embodied with in several questions as follow: Did Toulouse Lautrec's drawings pose a real embodiment for movement's concept? Was there a real psychological dimension lying behind these drawings? If the embodiment was a fact, How did Toulouse Lautrec found his forms, style and contents?

The research's aim was : Discovering the psychological dimension of movement in the drawings of Toulouse Lautrec. 

The third researchers implemented the procedures of research whereas the population and sample of research were (4) samples of Toulouse Lautrec's drawings, in addition to research's tool and analyzing the research's sample, Fourth section included showing and discussion of research's results, most important results of the research were : The concept of movement occupied priority in expression and the common evidence was legs and horses that were imaged in complex movement like dancing and rapid running due to their deep psychological dimension and that was obvious in all research's sample.

Conclusions included the conclusions, some of them were : Woman is considered a major anchor that Toulouse Lautrec's issues relied on and the deficits that he missed, then he compensated that deficits with his libertine relations with women that he expressed them by many works, and discovered a " movement style" that made him excellent in art, in addition to recommendations and suggestions
