The role of the Israeli occupation in the educational process of the Jordan Valley schools from the viewpoint of teachers of the Jordan Valley

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the degree of the impact of the Israeli occupation on the educational process in the Jordan Valley schools from the point of view of teachers, and the descriptive approach was used. 21) female teachers distributed according to the variables: (sex, educational qualification, place of work) and the researchers designed a questionnaire as a study management consisting of (29) items distributed on the two fields (military checkpoints, and child labor in settlements). The validity and reliability of the tool were verified by appropriate statistical methods.

To determine the results, the statistical package program (SPSS) was used, through which the arithmetic averages and percentages were calculated, a selection (T.test) was performed, and the one-way analysis of variance test was found, as it was found that:

There are no differences in the role of occupation on educational science in the Jordan Valley schools from the point of view of teachers at the significance level (a≤0.05) due to the variables of gender and educational qualification.
There are differences in the role of the Israeli occupation on educational science in the Jordan Valley schools from the point of view of teachers at the significance level (a≤0.05) due to the workplace variable.In the light of these results, the two researchers recommended several recommendations, including that the directorates of education supervising the schools of the Jordan Valley be keen to appoint teachers for the schools of the northern Jordan Valley from the people of that region, due to the difficulties that teachers from other regions face in reaching their schools while passing the Tayaseer checkpoint.
