Optical characteristics of the membranes (ZnO) prepared in a thermal evaporation.

Abstract

In this research, (ZnO) thin films prepared by rapid thermal oxidation method (RTOS) were prepared by hot plate at (573 K) and a time period (5 min) to obtain the best oxidation of zinc films prepared by thermal evaporation in vacuum and deposited on glass bases.
And by measuring the absorbance and permeability of this film at the range (330-900 nm).
The absorption coefficient, the energy of the forbidden gap for the direct and indirect reflective transitions, the extinction coefficient, the refractive index, the real and imaginary dielectric constant and the electrical conductivity were calculated.
