Abstract

He viewed education in our contemporary world as a process of change and development, and it is considered one of the means that society uses in the process of progress and construction. Leadership has an essential role in the life of the individual since ancient times. History highlights the role of leadership, the importance of leaders, their actions, and their influence on the course of events. There is great interest in the role of administrative leaders and the effective contributions they make through their leadership behavior patterns. The idea of leadership has aroused the interest of philosophers and thinkers from an early period to our modern era, this era in which scholars and researchers have produced results on this subject. The idea of leadership has become not limited to political and military leaders, but rather extends to administrative and educational matters.
The Deanship is the main tool in directing the educational institution through the laws and instructions that regulate the educational contexts, including academic, administrative and social, and contain students in a way that amounts to and prepare them for an ideal educational preparation.
