Abstract
In view of the great role played by the teacher within the educational institution, which is preparing learners for the future to be able to deal and interact with the rapid scientific and technological developments witnessed by society, by providing opportunities for interaction between these teachers and their students and using various learning resources that contribute to the field and development of their talents Students, and given that science education and mathematics teaching give the subject of creative thinking a primary concern, the current research tackled the identification of the degree of practice of the mathematics teacher for the skills that develop creative thinking among the students of the second year of scientific secondary school from the students' point of view. It seems in our schools that the majority of teachers, if not all of them, do not care much about creative students and do not accept their opinions and ideas, which are often unfamiliar to them. Zeitoun (1997: 46-72) confirms that interest in creativity and creative thinking is one of the most important goals of scientific education and mathematics teaching. Innovators are the real wealth of the nation, which hopes for progress, advancement and prosperity are pinned on them.
