Illusions and syllogismCritical applications in a poem (Open Amuriyah) to Abu Tammam
Abstract
The association of imagination with the concept of logical analogy shown by (the title of the research) assumes the existence of mental criteria from which the technical features hidden in the structure of the (text) are deduced, based on an organized systematic vision that benefits from the inferential standard criteria in the science of logic, and this vision is a critical procedure that tries to remove Sensory intervention (Impressionism), using the view of philosophers, who say that there are two ways to reach knowledge: sense and reason. For a long time, I believed that the logical vision is not suitable for the study of poetry, on the basis that illogicality is logic in the language of poetic images, and that there is no true or false sentence in the literary text, but these convictions dissipated with the change in the pattern of my philosophical and critical readings during the process of experimentation, and I began to believe that Critical curricula, especially in universities, must multiply and expand, and benefit from the spirit of the age that tends to overlap sciences. The truth is that each curriculum has tendencies in which an aspect that might be neglected by another approach is revealed. In my mind, the old convictions that used to see that a poem such as (Fath Amuriyah) are a sample have vanished. The study assumes its critical reading on the basis that it is closest to the historical method. Because it is related to the famous (Amoria) event, and this research was nothing but a turning point for the development of perceptions in a new direction. Uncovering a side of creativity.
