Abstract

The period from July 14, 1958 - February 8, 1963 is considered one of the most important periods in the contemporary history of Iraq, full of overt and hidden political events and conflicts, and because the Ministry of Interior is one of the main and sovereign ministries in the Iraqi state, and because of the diversity and complexity of its tasks in the political, administrative, functional, service, security, and even economic and cultural fields, and because of the importance of studying this vital institution during The aforementioned era was dealt with by the two researchers in this study, which focused on the positions, procedures and actions of the Ministry of Interior in the political and security field in particular, with reference to some other aspects of the Ministry's activities.
