The aim of this research is to "the effect of Zahorik's model on the achievement of physics for fifth grade female students and their divergent thinking". For the control group, the researcher formulated (160) behavioral goals within the levels (remembering, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation) according to Bloom's classification for the cognitive field. The researcher prepared an achievement test consisting of (40) objective items of choice type. The scale of divergent thinking consists of (16) items, and the psychometric characteristics of the two tools were confirmed. After processing the data statistically, it was found that teaching according to the Zahorik model led to raising the level of achievement and improving divergent thinking among the students of the experimental group.
