The research aims to identify the impact of the strategy of applying the principles on the achievement and scientific thinking of the students of the third intermediate grade in physics. In order to achieve the aim of the research, the researcher put the following two zero hypotheses: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the students who studied with the strategy of applying the principles and the average scores of the students who studied in the usual way in achievement. There are no statistically significant methods at the level of significance (05) in the level of scientific thinking among female students who studied using the strategy of applying principles and who studied in the usual way. The research was limited to female students in the third intermediate grade in Al-Zumurud Secondary School for Girls in Baquba District, which is affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Diyala, for the first semester of the academic year (2018-2019) and for the first five chapters of the physics book for the third intermediate grade. The research sample consisted of (80) students, representing (37) students in the experimental group and (43) students representing the control group. The two groups were rewarded for previous achievement in science and mathematics, in addition to the intelligence variable. The search tools are...
