Abstract

The current research aims to identify: the self-clarity of adolescents and adults according to the variables (age-sex). 2. Patience among adolescents and adults according to the two variables (age - gender). 3. Significance of statistical differences in self-clarity among adolescents and adults, according to the two variables (age-sex). 4. Significance of statistical differences in patience among adolescents and adults according to the two variables (age-sex). 5. Significance of the correlation between self-clarity and patience among adolescents and adults. To achieve the objectives of the current research, the researchers adopted the "self-clarity" scale prepared by Campbell et al. (Campbell et al., 1996) consisting of (12) items, and the "patience" scale prepared by Kenneth (2003) consisting of (28) items. Indicators of their validity and psychometric characteristics, the two online search tools were applied to a sample of (410) respondents from adolescents and adults, and the duration of the application lasted (5) days after announcing the application via the Beige and Groups website). After processing the data obtained from the sample statistically, the results showed the following: 1. Adolescents and adults in the age groups ((15-17), (18-20), (21-25)) have a degree of distinction in self-clarity.2. Teens and adults of all ages are patient. 3. Self-clarity and patience in adolescence and adulthood take a continuous evolutionary path with age and in favor of older age. 4. There is a positive and weak correlation between self-clarity and patience in the stages of adolescence and adulthood.
