Contra - Suggestion is a type of assimilation and represents a tendency towards resistance to suggestion through self-affirmation and independence in opinion, thinking, persuasion and acceptance of what is proposed to the individual, and due to the progress and technological and scientific development that the world is witnessing, including in our society and the spread of education among members of society And elevating a person to a position worthy of him, and despite that, it is not without the presence of some individuals who are distinguished for quickly believing some things based on an illogical and unfounded basis, where the individual feels helpless and helpless with the things and environmental events surrounding him, and thus they are victims of circumstances and events Where they relate to hidden powers or abilities that go beyond the limits of reality, and do not depend on their abilities. The current research aims to identify the counter-attraction of middle school students. The difference in counter-attractiveness among middle school students according to the gender variable (male, female). The research sample included (100) male and female middle school students, the sixth grade, and they were chosen randomly. The validity was extracted by apparent validity, and the paragraphs were analyzed statistically by calculating their ability to distinguish and their difficulty coefficient after they were presented to the experts to verify their validity. As for the stability, it was calculated by testing and re-testing, and after applying the scale to the research sample, the data were determined statistically using Pearson's correlation coefficient and the t-test. The current research concluded that: Students enjoy counterattraction. There are differences in the opposite attraction between males and females in favor of females. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended: conducting seminars and courses in schools to simplify students with the matters surrounding them, not believing everything that is said, and emphasizing the enjoyment of an independent personality with a decision and not imitating others. Encouraging students to engage in cultural dialogue to get to know each other
