The impact of the self-questioning strategy on acquiring fourth-grade scientific students physical concepts and developing their visual thinking

The aim of the research is to identify the effect of using the self-questioning strategy on acquiring fourth-grade scientific students physical concepts and developing their visual thinking. The research sample consisted of (70) students from Abd al-Rahman al-Ghafqi preparatory students in the left coast in the city of Mosul, and it was divided into two groups: the first is an experimental group of (37) students who studied according to the self-questioning strategy, and the second is a control group of (33) students who studied according to the usual method. . To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared two tests of the multiple choice type, the first is conceptual, consisting of (30) items, and the second is for visual thinking, consisting of (20) items. It was characterized by validity, stability, and psychometric characteristics.
