Emotioal freedom and its relation to the emotional health of University students

The goal of the research is to know the emotional freedom of the university students, to know the level of emotional health among the university students, and to know the direction and strength of the relationship between emotional freedom and emotional health of university students.
The research sample consisted of (667) female students in the morning colleges for the academic year 2016-2017, randomly chosen.
In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the measure of emotional freedom was constructed from the researcher, after he followed the scientific steps in its construction and verifying its validity and stability. The measure may be in the final form of (24) paragraphs. The researcher has achieved the cycometric characteristics of the scale. The stability coefficient was 0.88 and stability was obtained by the method of the internal consistency coefficient. The stability factor was 0.82. The second tool is emotional health. The measure may be in the final form Of the (49) paragraph, has been achieved The stability coefficient was 0.88, stability was obtained by the internal consistency coefficient method, and the stability coefficient (0.85) was obtained.
When the study data were statistically treated using the T-test for one sample and the Pearson correlation coefficient, the results showed that the individuals in the research sample had emotional freedom relative to the theoretical average and with significant differences on the measure of emotional freedom. The results of Pearson correlation coefficient showed a strong positive relationship between emotional freedom and emotional health. The researcher came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions.
