Leadership in Islamic military thought
Abstract
Unity of leadership was the first pillar of the theory of military leadership in Islam, which achieved the highest degree of intellectual harmony, which resulted in close cooperation between commanders and subordinates to achieve the goals of jihad in Islam. Persuasion and persuasion went hand in hand with the right to honor and obedience to the leader at all levels. And by analyzing the pattern of leadership in the battles of early Islam, which was administered directly by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) or by leaders who exercise leadership roles under the supervision of the Leader Messenger (PBUH), it was a persuasive pattern and does not rule out in cases of necessity or aiming at the least losses, resorting to The other style with adherence to the controls regulating desires.
