DOI:

Conclusion :
This research is an attempt to explore the nature of the subject of puns and the role it plays
Play it in Arabic rhetoric. If we look at it as a rhetorical device, the pun
It makes Arabic texts (Quranic, poetic and other eloquent expressions) more lively and
brighter and make its content richer with expressive semantic values. A topic has been addressed
The rhetorical differences between Arabic and English in looking at puns
This resulted in the exclusion of anaphora outside the circle of Arabic puns, as it is a rhetorical color
Badia with a functional and phonetic character, adopted as a kind of pun in Western rhetoric in a way
general. The pun in Arabic rhetoric is seen as a process that occurs in a level
Lexical, where the word with multiple meanings is used in a way that is not devoid of deception or
Confusion, confusion, or vagueness to create a kind of intentional confusion in these meanings.
Arabic puns of all kinds, especially those used in Quranic texts
Poetic texts represent an obstacle to translation into English, as most of them are of the same nature
An Arab Islamic cultural specificity. Also, in this research, procedures and techniques were suggested
Basic and important for its use in translating Arabic puns into English.
