Adsorption Isotherm of Some Triazoles as Corrosion Inhibitors of Mild Steel in Acids.
Abstract
Two mechanisms were used to explain the adsorption process of benzotrazole, aminotriazole and triazole on the iron surface, which were used as inhibitors to inhibit the corrosion of iron in acidic media. Two mathematical models were tested to represent the adsorption process, which is the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model and the Freundlich adsorption isotherm model by taking advantage of the corrosion rates data at different conditions.
