The aim of the current research is to evaluate the physics textbook for the fourth scientific grade according to the criteria for designing and producing infographics. In order to achieve this goal, the descriptive approach (content analysis) was chosen, and the research community was identified in the physics textbook for the fourth scientific preparatory stage, scheduled for the academic year 2019-2020. The research sample was all Drawings, shapes and charts included in this book. The analysis tool was prepared, represented by a list of criteria for designing and producing infographics, consisting of two fields: (educational design of infographics) and contains three main criteria and (14) sub-criteria - and (technical design of infographics) and contains (7) main criteria and (37) sub-criteria, Thus, the tool consisted of (10) main criteria and (51) sub-criteria distributed over the two domains. After confirming the apparent validity of the tool and the stability of the analysis, it was adopted in the analysis of physics books for the preparatory stage for the academic year (2019-2020). The results of the analysis showed that the physics book for the fourth scientific grade: achieved five criteria out of the ten main criteria. The third criterion in the first field (educational design of infographics) and the sixth, seventh and eighth criterion in the second field (technical design of infographics) are the least achieved. The second criterion in the first field (educational design of infographics) and the fourth and fifth criterion in the second field (technical design of infographics) are the most achieved. In the light of the research results, a set of recommendations and proposals were put forward, as well as suggesting ideal designs for infographics to be included in physics books for the fourth grade of science.
