Abstract

The last decade of the twentieth century involved many variables, the first of which was the end of the Cold War, the beginning of the stage of American unilateralism, and the world began in a new stage of labor, which resulted in the outbreak of devastating wars in many parts of the world, and accompanied with these wars, many theories were put forward, such as the end of history by Fukayama and the theory of the clash of civilizations by Samuel Huntington and the political projects, the most prominent of which was the Greater Middle East project, which was put forward by the United States of America as a political, economic and cultural reform project in the Middle East region. The researcher assumes that the Red Sea represents the link between the maritime transportation routes in the Middle East region, and its importance increased for the United States of America after it implemented the dual theories of Mahan and Seversky (naval force, air force), meaning that it is trying to secure it to facilitate the movement of its naval battleships in it. Three topics, where the researcher touched in the first topic the development of the strategic structure of the Middle East, while the second topic came under the name of the American strategy after the Cold War, while the third topic concluded the location of the sea in the system of the Greater Middle East.
