Economic characteristics of the population of Khanaqin district

Abstract

This research sheds light on the strong relationship of the population to work, the number of the employed population, the composition of the labor force and its characteristics in terms of its distribution according to the economic activity of 1997. It also deals with the issue of dependency in its various types, its economic and social implications and implications. The economic classification of the population is a basic and important requirement for the success of development plans and programs and the formulation of appropriate policies to make the most of the human resources of society, because of the data and information it provides on the size of the labor force owned by the society and the trends of its growth and development and the monitoring and follow-up of changes and changes in its characteristics over time. They are basic data and information for formulating plans, programs and policies for economic and social development, advancing economic growth and improving the conditions of the population and their economic, social, health and cultural living conditions, and so on.
