The level of farmers' knowledge of environmental pollution and its relationship to some variables

Abstract

Environment pollution is considered one of the important problems facing man in the modern era. Muhammad Abd al-Salam (2) that environmental pollution results from a number of polluting substances or factors that lead, directly or indirectly, to damage to public health, meaning that environmental pollution is the result of the presence of pollutants, which are classified into (3): 1- according to their origin. 2- According to their causes, in terms of origin, there are 1- Natural pollutants that are produced from the environment itself without human intervention, such as volcanic gases. According to their causes, it includes: 1- Biological pollutants, which are organisms that cause diseases to humans, animals and plants. 2- Physical pollutants, which are noise, thermal and radioactive pollution. 3- Chemical pollutants, which are pesticides of all kinds and gases emitted from machines and cars.
