Abstract

The true Islamic religion was the main subject that the Crusader nations feared, so they worked as hard as they could to try to distance Muslims from their religion, and considered that the weakness of Islam among Muslims is a victory to achieve their goals, and the Crusades, which lasted for two centuries, were among their main goals the elimination of the Islamic religion. Christianization of Muslims. The confrontation, then, was an intellectual confrontation against a counter-ideological current, as if history is now repeating itself, so the war or confrontation now between Islam and the intellectual currents opposed to it is a war of ideas, and the battle is then an intellectual battle, and Muslims must have the tools that they must arm themselves with to fight it. This confrontation (the intellectual battle) will be more severe, stronger in impact, and more lethal than losing any military battle of any kind and size. Let us set a pioneering example in the history of Islamic thought to stand before the opposing intellectual currents, Imam Al-Ghazali (d. 505 AH), who fought in the midst of many intellectual battles, and emerged victorious from all of them, and as his weapon, he deposited his book (The Savior from Delusion) where he says: ".. He does not stand on the corruption of a kind of science who does not stand on the extreme of that knowledge, until he is equal to the most knowledgeable of them among the people of that knowledge, then he increases it and exceeds his degree, so he learns of what the owner of knowledge did not see... And then what he claims of corruption can be true. "
