The effect of listening to and watching literary and political programs on the expressive performance of second intermediate grade female students

Based on the importance of watching television, literary and political programmes, and listening to them, the researchers try to test the impact of watching and listening to these programs on the expressive performance of the second intermediate grade students. The two researchers chose Aden middle school for girls intentionally, and the research sample was (80) students, with (40) students in each group of the experimental and control groups, and the students of the two research groups were rewarded statistically in the following variables: chronological age, educational attainment of parents and mothers, and grades of the previous year. Pre-test, language ability, and intelligence. After the two researchers identified the scientific material with five expressive topics, the two research groups studied according to the plans prepared in the experiment that lasted for three months, and the expressive topics were corrected according to approved correction criteria, and the arithmetic averages and the general average were extracted for each group, and using the t-test for two independent samples, the study concluded that there is A statistically significant difference at the level of 0.5 in favor of the experimental group students. In the light of the research results, the two researchers recommended the following: - Encouraging middle school students to listen to and watch literary and political programmes. - Increasing literary and political programs because they develop students' literary audacity, in addition to enriching their information and increasing their expressive performance. Directing the audiovisual and written media to expand and adhere to the use of classical Arabic and to avoid colloquial Arabic.
