Personal traits of kindergarten students and their relationship to some variables

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to reveal the level of personality traits that the kindergarten students have. To achieve the objectives of the research, the personality trait scale was applied, which was built by the researcher after verifying the indications of charity and stability on the study sample, which consisted of (300) female students from the Kindergarten Department at the University of Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriya University. The personality of the female students was average, and the results showed that the most common personality traits among the students was the conscientiousness trait, the extraversion trait, followed by the openness trait, the harmony trait, and finally the neurotic trait. The results also indicated that there were no differences in personality traits due to the variable of the academic stage except (extraversion trait) and in favor of the fourth stage. In the end, the results were discussed in the light of the theoretical framework and previous studies, and some recommendations and suggestions were reached based on the findings of the study.
