Smart Screens and Their Relationship to Bullying Behavior in Kindergartens

The current research aimed to identify smart screens and their relationship to bullying behavior in kindergartens. The research sample consisted of (200) mothers of kindergarten children. To achieve the desired results, the researcher adopted the descriptive correlational approach. The researcher relied on two research tools to obtain the necessary information. The researcher adopted the (Asmaa, Iman, 2017) scale for measuring smart screens, after modifying it to suit the current environment. This scale consists of (22 items) distributed across the domains of (social, health, behavioral, and monitoring). As for the bullying behavior scale, the researcher developed a scale based on Bandura's social learning theory, consisting of (35 items) distributed across five domains.
The study examined the psychological, social, verbal, physical, and sexual domains, verifying appropriate psychometric properties such as validity and reliability using suitable statistical methods. The researcher concluded that kindergarten children exhibit a level of smart screen addiction and bullying behavior, and that there is a strong positive correlation between smart screens. Regarding bullying behavior, the researcher developed a set of recommendations and suggestions.
