The Effectiveness of the "Question Circle" Strategy in Developing Oral Expression Skills Among Fourth-Grade Female Students in the Central Governorate, Palestine

Abstract

The aim of the research was to reveal the effectiveness of the question circle strategy in developing oral expression skills among fourth-grade students in the Central Governorate in Palestine. To answer the research questions, the following hypotheses were formulated: The question circle strategy does not have an acceptable effect on developing oral expression skills among fourth-grade primary school students. There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) between the average scores of the female students of the control and experimental groups in the post-application of the oral expression skills observation card and for the benefit of the female students of the experimental group. The research used the experimental method, and the community was represented by all the female students of the fourth grade of primary school. The sample consisted of (60) female students at Deir al-Balah Joint Primary School, and two classes were chosen from among (4) classes that were chosen using the random sample method An oral expression skills note card was prepared, and the data was processed through the statistical program, and the processing processes included statistical methods such as test (T), Cooper's equation to calculate, test (Levine) to verify the homogeneity of the data, test (Shapiro-Wilk) to verify the moderation of the data, and Cohen's equation (Cohen's) to measure effect size, and the ETA square The results revealed statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students of the control and experimental groups in the post-application of the oral expression observation card in favor of the students of the experimental group, and the existence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students of the two groups in the post-application of the oral expression observation card in favor of the students of the experimental group. In light of the results, the research recommends the need to focus on using modern teaching strategies that combine authenticity and modernity as a strategy for the circle of questions Due to its proven effectiveness on developing oral expression skills in teaching the Arabic language.
