Preparation and characterization of complexes of some transition metal ions with

Abstract

This paper presents the synthesis and study of some new mixed – ligand complexes containing nicotinamide (na) andthiocyanate (SCN-) with some metals . The resulting products were found to be solid crystalline complexes which have been characterized by using ( FT-IR, uv-vis ) spectra, melting boint ,elemental analysis ( C . H . N ) , determination the percentage of the metal in the complexes by (AAS) , molar conductivity ,thereoritical study by using program , chem . offic 3D (2000). The general formula have been given for the prepared . Complexes : [ M(na )2(scn)2] Where : M(II) = Co(II) ,Cu(II) , Ni(II) ,Cd(II),Fe(II). na = Nicotinamide = C6H6N2O
