Reasons for joining the civil schools in Diyala governorate and its relation to some variables

Abstract

The current research aims at identifying the reasons for enrollment of intermediate and middle school students to the private schools in Diyala Governorate. To achieve these goals, the researchers formulated the following questions:

1-What are the reasons for joining the private schools from the point of view of students?

2-Is there a difference in the reasons for enrollment of students in private schools according to gender variable (male, female)?

3-Is there a difference in the reasons for enrollment of students in private schools according to the variable housing (rural, city)

The research was conducted in Diyala Governorate / Iraq for the academic year (2017-2018). The researchers chose the descriptive research approach for this research, as well as the construction of the research tool. It is a questionnaire in four fields. Each field includes a number of paragraphs. To build the tool and analyze data such as the weighted mean and percentage, which led to the results of the identification of the reasons for joining the civil schools for the middle and middle schools, and reached a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
