Study the effect of aqueous extract of pomegranate peel, Punica granatum L., on bacteria isolated from patients with tonsillitis in Diyala governorate.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of aqueous extract of pomegranate peel Punica granatum L. on bacteria isolated from patients with tonsillitis in Diyala province. ) mg/ml against each of the isolates of Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus with inhibition diameters of (9.0, 11.2, 12.7, 14.0, 15.0) mm and (11.5, 15.0, 17.2, 20.2, 23.0) mm, respectively. On the other hand, the aqueous extract had The cold weather of pomegranate peel had another effect on inhibition diameters of (0, 8.0, 10.2, 11.3, 13.0) mm and (9.8, 13.4, 15.3, 18.0, 20.0) mm, respectively.
