Education at the bigeye and Ibn Rushd

Abstract

In this research, I dealt with a topic in which there were many authors, especially from scholars of education and psychology. The topic is the teaching of Al-Jahiz and his most prominent opinions, whether they were collected within the folds of one book, or scattered within a group of books. The research for this purpose is divided into chapters. The first is a study of Arabic education, whether it was before Islam, which is represented by the family, which is considered one of the most important means for Bedouin Arabs. Or it was after Islam. As for the second chapter, it discusses the life of Al-Jahiz and his most important writings or his most important opinions in the field of education. The world passed it on generation after generation, and his views were distinguished by a lot of scientific and objectivity due to their reliance on philosophy and logic. As for his educational views, we see through them an outstanding genius, and a person who enjoys a deep belief in the principles and teachings of Islam. Those teachings and principles were derived from the principles of Islam and its enlightening thought. As for the reason for our choice of this subject, it is the lack of sources that talk about this great personality. The student of educational sciences continued to focus on Al-Jahiz, Ibn Sina, Al-Ghazali and many others, and we rarely find a student or researcher who studies Ibn Rushd, although he is no less prestigious than other of our great scholars.
