Al-Fath Journal for Educational and Psychological Research
Al-Fath Journal for Educational and Psychological Research is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the College of Basic Education, University of Diyala. Established in 1997, the journal is concerned with publishing original scholarly research in the fields of education, psychology, and related disciplines, in accordance with rigorous research standards, publication ethics, and academic peer review.
The journal aims to contribute to the development of educational and psychological knowledge by publishing research that addresses contemporary educational and psychological issues, provides clear scholarly contributions, and supports the improvement of educational processes and psychological practices in light of scientific methodology and recognized academic standards.
The journal publishes original research in the fields of curricula and teaching methods, educational psychology, psychological and educational counseling, educational administration, educational technology, foundations of education, assessment and measurement, kindergarten education, special education, and other disciplines related to educational and psychological sciences. Accepted manuscripts may include theoretical, applied, and field studies, provided that they are original, methodologically sound, and compliant with the journal’s publication guidelines.
The journal accepts research articles derived from master’s theses and doctoral dissertations, as well as manuscripts presented at scientific conferences, provided that they are submitted in the form of original and complete scholarly articles, not merely as thesis or dissertation summaries or conference papers, and that they undergo initial editorial screening, specialized peer review, and the journal’s approved publication policies.
The journal seeks to provide a rigorous scholarly publishing environment that supports researchers from inside and outside Iraq, strengthens academic communication among universities and educational and research institutions, and contributes to the dissemination and development of educational and psychological knowledge in a way that serves society, educational institutions, and decision-makers in the field of education. The journal adopts transparency in its editorial and ethical policies and works continuously to develop its website, technical procedures, and editorial practices in line with scholarly publishing quality standards and the requirements of indexing databases and academic accreditation. The databases and indexes in which the journal is listed are presented on a separate and updated page on the journal’s website, with documentary links whenever available.
The Editorial Board of Al-Fath Journal for Educational and Psychological Research invites researchers and scholars to review the journal’s policies and author guidelines and to submit original manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of educational and psychological knowledge and the enhancement of scholarly research quality.
